Bizcap named one of HRD’s 5-Star Employers of Choice 2026

Bizcap has been recognised as one of Human Resources Director’s (HRD) 5-Star Employers of Choice for 2026, highlighting its continued commitment to building a high-performing, people-first workplace across Australia and New Zealand.
The annual HRD 5-Star Employers of Choice program celebrates organisations that excel in employee satisfaction, workplace culture, benefits, and development. Winners are selected based on detailed employer submissions and anonymous employee feedback across key areas including compensation, diversity and inclusion, leadership, and career progression.
At the core of Bizcap’s success is a culture built on speed, simplicity and service – principles that extend beyond its customer offering and into every aspect of the employee experience.
“Being recognised as an Employer of Choice is a direct reflection of the environment we’ve worked hard to create – one where our people feel empowered, supported and genuinely valued,” said Rebecca del Rio, Bizcap’s Deputy CEO (APAC).
“At Bizcap, we believe that when you invest in your people, you unlock better outcomes for customers, partners and the business as a whole.
“We’ve built a culture that prioritises performance and wellbeing equally. That balance is critical to sustaining long-term growth and ensuring our people can do their best work. This recognition reinforces that we’re on the right path, but more importantly, it motivates us to keep raising the bar.”
Bizcap continues to evolve its people strategy through data-led initiatives and innovative partnerships. Its implementation of intelligence platform Ploomo has transformed recruitment by moving beyond traditional CV screening to a structured, evidence-based assessment of skills, behaviours and cultural alignment. This approach has delivered a 92% success rate across hires over 12 months, while significantly improving retention in key teams.
“Our approach to hiring and development is intentional and always evolving,” said Kirsty Nixon, Bizcap’s Senior People and Culture Manager.
“We’re always listening to our people, analysing feedback and identifying opportunities to improve how we attract, support and retain talent. We don’t see culture as something static, it’s something we actively build and refine every day.”
Employee development remains a cornerstone of Bizcap’s culture. Team members are encouraged to take ownership of their career progression through access to formal training, stretch opportunities, job shadowing and ongoing coaching. Regular leader check-ins provide structured support around goals, performance and development pathways.
The company has also strengthened its commitment to wellbeing and inclusion with the introduction of enhanced paid parental leave, alongside initiatives designed to support employees through different life stages.
Diversity, equity and inclusion are embedded from day one, with comprehensive onboarding that reinforces Bizcap’s values, behavioural standards and expectations for a respectful workplace. Leaders are equipped to model inclusive behaviours, supported by open feedback channels and clear escalation pathways.
“Our culture is grounded in respect, accountability and transparency,” del Rio said.
“We’re proud of the progress we’ve made, but we remain focused on continuing to evolve because building a great workplace is never a finished product.”
